The home office chair OLLIE 360 uniquely blends inspiration from a Frankfurt kitchen chair and a skateboard. Its first prototype was created by mounting a seat and a backrest on skateboard trucks and placing them on a kitchen chair. This led to the development of the second prototype, known as the „seating machine,“ consisting of a framework of metal profiles and perforated plates. Various dampers, elastomers, axles, and more were experimented with and studied to create the perfect chair.
The final home office chair, OLLIE 360, features a solid maple wood base with veneered seat shells made of beech plywood. The seat shell and the backrest are designed to move independently, providing extremely comfortable and pleasant seating, even for extended periods.
